Description
Decided I had to own an evo to see what all the fuss was about! Finally located a VII which was near as dammit mint. If I am honest, it's not really my kind of car but I certainly did enjoy driving it for 9 months!! Awesome acceleration regardless of surface or conditions, just can't beat 4WD in these circumstances. The grip is awesome, it just doesn't want to understeer so you have to be careful as it doesn't give much warning when the backend finally breaks away!

Managed to track it once at Donington which was fantastic, a very good track for an evo resulting in one of my most fun track days so far. Alas she had to go but I can safely say I really enjoyed the owning one especially given the condition...

Modifications
Pretty much standard apart from a few simple mods:
  • HKS panel filter
  • HKS De-cat pipe
  • HKS Turbo Timer
  • EBC Turbo Groove discs
  • EBC Red Stuff pads

Donington Track Day - 25/02/2007
This video is taken by a chap in a slightly tweaked 2.8 VR6 stripped out Golf... goes well! Anyway, my evo comes into view after a couple of minutes (noooooo, not the first one who didn't know his arse from his you know what) but the other silver evo! It was a fantastic track day with my evo only being bettered by the works Ferrari 360 CS you see in the vid.
