 Well it's been a long time since we heard the sweet sound of an Audi five cylinder engine on full song. Indeed more recently we have had to live with the rather anaemic sounding four cylinder or the silky smooth six. But that's about to change with the Audi TT RS, oooh yes the five pot is definately back.Sporting an all new direct injection 2.5 litre turbocharged engine, the RS will offer a range topping 340bhp and 330lbs/ft. When unleashed via the quattro four-wheel drive you can expect some change from a sub 5 second 0-60 sprint and a top speed (limiter removed) of 175mph. The suspension and brakes receive a beefy upgrade with new springs, dampers, roll bars and bigger brakes. This is the TT we have all been waiting for... |
